Designing components using composite materials
Avant Garde offers a manufacturing business which has been divided into specialised sectors of operation. We specifically deal with:
- managing and coordinating projects to follow customers from the initial presentation
- designing components by developing technical drawing
- designing and building moulds
- checking performance and quality also using external suppliers for non-invasive ultrasound checks.
Technological advancements
We manufacture fibre composite components by using the following equipment:
- computerised cutting plotter which help optimise work times and fibre quality
- autoclaves are used so that we can apply thermodynamic cycles for uniform temperature distribution (120 ° C-160 ° C) and pressure (6 bar)
- electro-ventilated oven with controlled cycles using low temperature thermodynamic cycles (60 ° C-90 ° C), vacuum-sealed for moulding large products
- press for small production in bulk
- CNC units for cutting and trimming.
